We are delighted: illustrator Salomé Chokron, aka Salomé Enchantée, is coming to KANO for two Thursday evenings of watercolour.
For two hours, she shows you how she works, then guides you step by step through the evening's theme. You leave with your own watercolour, and a drink is included.
A different theme each evening: come to one, or both.

Salomé opens up her world
She shows you her watercolours, her inspirations and her little tips, on the evening's theme.

You learn her technique
Watercolour basics step by step: mixing colours, getting the water right, building up layers. Salomé goes from table to table to guide you.

Everything is provided
Watercolour paper, brushes and paints are waiting on the table, with a drink included. Just turn up.

Take your watercolour home
Your creation is yours the same evening, ready to frame, send or give.

Seasonal fruit and flowers
Apples, pears, figs and squash, but also dahlias, chrysanthemums and autumn foliage: you pick the botanical plate you like, and Salomé guides you as you paint it, like an illustrated print to hang at home.

Greeting cards
Just before the holidays, you paint your own watercolour greeting cards, ready to send or tuck under the tree.

Who is Salomé?
Salomé Chokron, aka Salomé Enchantée, is an illustrator. She paints terraces, façades and southern landscapes in watercolour, and creates bespoke illustrations for brands, hotels and events, often live, in front of the guests.
At KANO, she shares her way of working with anyone who wants to give it a try, beginners included.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know how to paint?
No experience needed. Salomé starts from the basics and guides every step, and everyone goes at their own pace.
Can I come with friends?
Yes, you can book up to 4 places in one order. For a larger group, email us at hello@kanocafe.fr.
Are drinks included?
One drink is included in your place. The café stays open during the workshop: a second drink or something to nibble can be ordered from the menu on the spot.
What if I can no longer come?
Email us at hello@kanocafe.fr up to 4 days before the session: we will refund you or move your place to the other date, as you prefer. After that, your place cannot be refunded or moved, but you can pass it on to someone else.
What if the session does not go ahead?
A session runs from 6 participants. Below that, we offer you the other date or a full refund.
Where does the workshop take place?
At KANO, 59 avenue de la République, Paris 11th, opposite Rue Saint-Maur metro. Arrive 10 minutes before 7pm to settle in.
