Ceramic painting Ceramic painting workshop in Paris 11th
One piece. Colours. An object for everyday life.
from €30
How it works
- 01Pick your piece at the ceramic bar.
- 02Paint, test your colours on scrap paper, layer them up.
- 03Leave your piece with your name on it: it goes into the kiln.
What's included
- A ceramic piece (S, M or L)
- A palette and brushes
- Access to the colour bar
Your piece is fired after your session: allow 15 days before coming to collect it.
A few techniques
Always shake the paints before using them.
- One coat gives a fine, translucent colour, three coats give a solid one.
- Let it dry between coats, otherwise the paint crazes.
- Scratched effect: once your piece is painted, draw your patterns with the tip of a cocktail stick.
- Tape effect: masking tape gives you perfectly straight lines.
- A small mistake can be lifted with a slightly damp sponge.
- Test your colours on the scrap paper before putting them on the piece.
After your session
Take a photo of your piece before you hand it in. It is then glazed and fired in our kiln, and it waits for you at the counter 15 days later.
